At The Natural Cake Emporium we believe the better the ingredients the better the taste! Our sole aim is to give our customers the greatest tasting experience ever. In the case of natural cakes, it is what is missing that makes our cakes taste so good....
Our diet affects our entire well being; it is the biggest influencing factor on our health. We obtain energy and nutrients to repair and rebuild our bodies from various elements of our diet. Even our thoughts and emotions are influenced by the quality of our food, making healthy choices can improve and maintain our overall wellbeing. At The Natural Cake Emporium we take these aspects seriously, all our recipes are free from artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners, preservative or additives. Without the addition of these superfluous ingredients the natural flavour of the food is allowed to shine through. Ensuring you to taste the cake and not the nitrate!
Our
range of colours are derived from natural minerals, fruit and vegetable extracts
or made exclusively at The Natural Cake Emporium. Every
ingredient is thoroughly considered before it is utilised in one of our
exclusive recipes. Using only organic flours, butters and free range
organically sourced eggs. We always use Soil Association approved
organic cocoa powder made with the finest fair-trade cocoa beans; this in
turn produces the most succulent, decadent chocolate sponges, icings
and ganache. Wherever possible we will source organic and fair-trade
products.
We pride ourselves for not using ingredients such as
Monosodium Glutamate (commonly known as MSG) found repeatedly in foods.
MSG changes the flavour of your food by creating taste-active compounds; tricking and impacting the chemistry to your brain making you feel that
the taste has improved, with equally transient side effects. It is easy
to use such products for tricking a customer’s taste patterns in a day
and age of additives and flavour enhancers; but at The Natural Cake
Emporium we provide honesty for traditional, natural, healthy and
superior options.
All our cakes are affectionately hand baked and decorated to our customer's
requirements. Our products are proudly made, containing only natural
ingredients. Our natural selections allow the true flavours of our cakes
to shine through... just natural, elegant and simple.
