Irum Walker principle owner, cake baker and decorator of The Natural Cake Emporium has always had an enthusiasm for design. From an early age she demonstrated great eagerness and devotion towards the creative arts, always attaining the highest qualifications and recommendations throughout her educating years.

Irum continued to study in her much-loved field and at 16 she passed with the highest GCSE grade in textile/ fabric design. Having developed a passion for Interior Design she endeavoured and achieved a foundation in Art and Design. In this time she dedicated her time at college to create a professional portfolio that would enable her to be accepted into the much acclaimed University of Arts, London College of Communication where after three years of rigorous training and hard work she graduated as an Interior Architect & Designer.

It was not until Irum left university that she exposed her natural potential for the art of cake baking and decorating. Throughout her education Irum had an obsession for baking. In her spare time she would make cakes and desserts for family parties and gatherings of all occasions. This passion enabled her to practice through trial and error to become the expert she is today. Pursuing and achieving an NCFE certificate in creative craft has enabled her to gain formal recognition for her profession.

Irum runs her own successful business, demonstrating her natural skills which have assisted her to build a reputation for her niche business. Commended and sought after for her attention to detail, natural ingredients and high quality exquisite finishes. Irum has created a reputation hard to compete with.
